The Deadmines The Deadmines is a level 17–26 dungeon beneath Moonbrook in Westfall with eight bosses and the rare spawn Miner Johnson. WoW: Forever adds new drops such as Rockslicer, an axe that can mine ore, and a new quest chain, Destruction in Deadmines.

Sources list 44 drops, of which 39 have been seen in the beta. 27 are listed here; the rest are likely trash drops. Cape of the Brotherhood is left out because it is not confirmed in Forever. Which boss drops Bandsaw Wristbands and Smelting Pants is uncertain. Sources give different level ranges (for example 18–24). Pick up Gryan Stoutmantle Quest chain Gryan sends you to Wiley the Black in Lakeshire, Redridge Mountains. Bring Wiley's note back to Gryan. Take the note to Master Mathias Shaw at SI:7 in Old Town, Stormwind. Bring Shaw's report back to Gryan. Catch the Defias Messenger on the road between Moonbrook, Gold Coast Quarry and Jangolode Mine. Escort the Defias Traitor from Sentinel Hill through Moonbrook to the Deadmines entrance. Kill Edwin VanCleef and bring his head to Gryan. Objective Kill Edwin VanCleef (final step). Pick up Alba Fairmoon Quest chain Testing the Wells: Alba Fairmoon, Sentinel Hill. Murloc Gills: collect 7 Longshore Murloc Gills along the Westfall coast. Explosive Consultation: return to Alba. You receive Extra-Destructive Explosives. Destruction in Deadmines (part 1): plant the explosives near the Goblin Foundry inside the dungeon. Meet Alba at the exit (38.6, 83.6). Destruction in Deadmines (part 2): use the detonator to destroy the forge. Objective Plant explosives at the hidden forge inside the Deadmines. Turn in Alba Fairmoon, at the Deadmines exit behind Moonbrook (38.6, 83.6) Rewards New quest chain in Forever. Each player needs their own explosives.
